Bernie Gurberg  who ran the Dollar Cinema at Decarie Square  for 18 years until 2022. His Last Dollar is the portrait of a Montreal original which is gone but not forgotten, and of the flawed but good-hearted man who made it something magical for thousands of moviegoers over two decades. These days  Bernie greets moviegoers at his son Bruce's CineStarz Deluxe Cavendish. The documentary is beautifully done and anyone who ever stepped foot into the Dollar Cinema will get a warm and nostalgic feeling,

Bernie will also be on hand  along with  St. Pierre to do a Q & A after the film.
